Prof. of BeckHoff Automation Co., Ltd. Germany Give Courses in ECUST

    Prof. Frank Schiller of BeckHoff Automation Co., Ltd., Germany, was invited to visit ECUST from May 31st to June 2nd, 2017, during which he gave a 16- hour course in English for undergraduates and graduates in the Department of Automation, School of Information Science and Engineering, at Fengxian Campus and Xuhui Campus respectively. 

    In recent years, Professor Schiller has regularly visited ECUST and given lectures on communication security technology in the industrial control network. The theme of the course this time is “Fail-safe Communication in Automation”, which focuses on the advanced technology of solving the communication safety problem in the current industrial fieldbus control system. This course is practical in content and expands the students’ vision, helping to strengthen students’ ability to solve practical problems.
